What fills you up? What nourishes you? What are the bubbles in your champagne? When you’re most alive, who are you?
Most people don’t ask themselves these questions. We’re too busy staying atop our 50 hour work weeks, running a household, trying to get ahead. It’s easy to forget that it’s important to take a step back from time to time and ask yourself what you really want.
So, are you ready to devote some time this week to remembering who you are and what you want?
This is one of my favorite exercises I use with my clients.
Ideal Sunday Exercise
How it works:
Write down your absolutely most amazing Sunday from when you wake up, until you go to bed. Where do you wake up? Who’s with you? How do you start your morning? Who do you visit? Do you go to church? Do you walk along the beach? Or do you hangout all day in bed?
Be creative and play with all the possibilities.
Now, hereʼs the big question. How can you plan to add some of those things into your life today?
In the comments below, I’d love for you to share one thing from your ideal Sunday, that you are going to starting incorporating into your life, starting today.
