Ingredients
- 1 bunch kale leaves
- 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- sea salt (to taste)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 300°F.
Remove the leaves from the stems and rinse with water.
In small batches, spin the leaves in a salad spinner. (If the leaves aren’t super-duper dry, the kale chips won’t turn out.)
Massage the kale with coconut oil.
Add spices and toss to mix well.
Add the kale to a parchment lined baking sheet- in a single layer. (You’ll need 2-3 sheets for this recipe.)
Bake for 10 minutes. Rotate the pans and bake for an additional 8-12 minutes. Keep a close eye on them, they can go from not ready to overdone quickly.
Remove from oven and sprinkle with salt immediately.
Cool for 5 min.
